I'm Kaehla and I own small business - a media/production company (@awhfmedia). Last year our team spent our time off social media, on film sets and at red carpet events. 2024 we're challenging ourselves to find other bold personalities online, creating premium products featuring our own hand-designed graphics.
"You want to make 107 sales this year, with less than 300 followers? Pfft okay." I used to run a shop that successfully sold pieces with unit prices of $10,000. Trust me, it's completely possible to SURPASS these numbers, but let's shoot as low as humanly possible. Here's how to reach our goals, basing it off a full, 366-day leap year:
• 107 sales is only .29 sales a day (or 1 sale a day if we take 250 days off this year)
• Let's say 1% of our shop visitors make a purchase, and 1% of people we market to visit our shop. That means to get three sales a day, we have get an average of 29 people into our shop per day. That means we need to reach an average of 2,900 people a day, or 88,450 people a month.
• Our posts with no trending sounds reach an average of 200 people, while our posts WITH trending sounds reach >1000. So let's say we can only realistically put out 3 reels a day, two viral and one regular reel. That means minimum we will reach 1400 people per day, or 42,000 a month IF we have no growth in 2024, without including additional still posts/carousels/other features.
• On Tik Tok we currently reach an average of 500 a video. Using 3 posts a day as a rule of thumb, that's an additional 1500 a day or 45,000 a month IF we have no growth.
• To put this into perspective, reaching that goal of 2,900 people a day is 1,061,400 in 2024!
Now imagine I market to this crowd alone, but I also have a team of people also marketing separately. I have no doubt our business will manifest our small goal. And if you are starting your own business, you definitely can too! But are you as aligned as us in all aspects of your life?
