Updated: Dec 31

This rosemary old fashioned recipe will have you feeling timeless and classy... even after a few.

We love when bartenders and mixologists suggest their favorite cocktails to make for us. Cocktails deserve to be an art, you know?

Our cohost Stephanie visited Big Fire at Citywalk Orlando and was pleased when the bartender asked if she liked gin. If you know Stephanie and our podcast, some of our favorite words are gin, old-fashioned, and mezcal. He proceeded to create an old fashioned of her dreams.

We want to share the recipe with you, with our own AWHFul twist of course.

Rosemary Old Fashioned

2 oz gin

1 oz rosemary simple syrup

1/2 oz lemon juice

Dash of cardamom bitters

Dash of orange bitters

Sprig of rosemary

Slice of candied blood orange

1 cocktail ice cube

Add ice cube to your highest-class-looking glass.

Combine gin, rosemary simple syrup, cardamom bitters, and stir.

Torch rosemary sprig for a smoky finish.

Garnish with candied blood orange slice and rosemary sprig.

This cocktail is featured under the episode "A New 'Old Fashioned' Prescription" airing Wednesday, February 8, 2021. Listen to the Are We Having Fun? podcast on all platforms listed on our home page.

Cheers, AWHFul gang!
